SCOTTSDALE, AZ – March 12, 2013 — Copperstate Turbine Engine Company (CTEC) has opened a 22,000-square-foot facility to house their new TPE331 Overhaul Shop, allowing their Aerospace Machining Center to expand in its existing facility.
“With growth comes change, and CTEC has responded,” stated Mike Croye, CTEC’s director of maintenance. “CTEC’s Overhaul Shop processes over 140 engines per year and is one of the largest TPE331 centers in the world.”
As a Honeywell-Authorized Component Repair Center, the Aerospace Machining Center processes components for engines sent to CTEC as well as handles the vast majority of engine gearbox repairs for most other 331 shops throughout the world.
