SCOTTSDALE, AZ – March 4, 2012 — 2012 marks the completion of Copperstate Turbine Engine Company’s (CTEC) first 10 years since its founding in Scottsdale, AZ. Ten years later the aircraft maintenance business has grown to over 100 employees and has opened a repair facility in Anchorage, AK (2005) and an FBO, Glendale Aero Services in Glendale, AZ in July 2011. Since its first year of operation, the enterprise has grown over 80 fold.
CTEC is a Honeywell-Approved Service Center for the TPE331, (overhaul) TFE731, General Aviation APUs and TPE331 engine components. CTEC is also an authorized-service entity for Twin Commander, Cessna piston aircraft and the Aviat Husky family of aircraft.
CTEC is a leading avionics installation for Garmin and several other avionics manufacturers.
